Welcome to Wild Path Mountain Guides. We specialise in summer and winter mountaineering instruction in the UK. We also offer a wide range of climbing and mountaineering expeditions to East Africa’s Kenya.
Our courses combine both our training and qualifications along with many years of experience to deliver high quality instruction and guidance. Our courses focus on imparting our skills to allow people to head into the mountains and onto the crags independently.
Wild Path is owned and run by Dan and Jo who bring many years of experience and enthusiasm to their courses. We are based in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
We also spend some of our time in Kenya, East Africa. We offer a wide range of courses and experiences both climbing and mountaineering. Wild Path has over a decade of experience in Kenya and are always keen to show people the best this country has to offer.

Summer Mountains
We offer a full range of summer mountaineering and rock climbing courses. These are all aimed at either a guided experience or instructional courses aimed at creating safe and independent mountaineers and climbers.
We operate in the Scottish Highlands using some of the superb venues we have such as the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye, the classic climbs and scrambles of Ben Nevis and Glencoe and of course the North West Highlands.
We also offer guided ascents of Ben Nevis.
