Here are some of our FAQ's if you don't see an answer to your question then we are always happy to help on the email or by phone at any time.
What if the weather is to bad for the course?
We do go out in some pretty heavy weather on our courses as it is Scotland and often the weather can be a bit wild which gives a realistic feel to some courses. However if the weather is to rough every effort will be made to run the course which may entail a day for example at the climbing wall or we may suggest another date to run the day.
What equipment do I need for my course?
Just your clothing and footwear. We provide all climbing or scrambling hardware and also provide ice axe and crampons, helmets and harnesses in the course cost. If you bring your own harness we would like to check that its in good working order and you know the history of it.
What about insurance?
All instructors carry a personal liability insurance along with their appropriate qualification. We recommend that you have your own personal insurance also.
What is the booking process?
If you see a course you would like then get in touch once we get the right programme in place we send out a booking form along with the payment details. We ask for a twenty percent booking fee with the balance due four weeks prior to the course commencing.
Do you provide food and accommodation?
No we just provide the course, instructors and all equipment relevant to the course. However we do know the Highlands intimately and are more than happy to help with finding you accommodation from camping to bunkhouses and hotels.
